The archaeological area preserves monumental rests of Venusia, the latin colony founded in 291 b.C., consisting in big pubblic complexes (thermal bath and residential district with accomodat) and the medieval abbay of Santissima Trinità. In the sorroundings you’ll find the roman anphiteather and christian and jewish catacombs.
