Sepolcro "Grotta della Vipera"

A Roman necropolis with monumental tombs dug into the rock lies at the foot of the Tuvixeddu hill. The mausoleum (end of the 1st- beginning of the 2nd century AD) holds the remains of a Roman noblewoman, Atilia Pomptilla, and her husband Lucio Cassio Filippo, condemned to exile in Sardinia.
