Museo archeologico nazionale di Metaponto

The museum presents an archaelogical synthesis of findings in the Metaponto’s region from prehistoric to late-roman period, with particular attention to the history of Metaponto, from the 7th century b.C. one of the most important greek colony in South Italy.
