The project of the Directorate-General of Museums, created by the in-house company Ales SpA, aims to promote Italian cultural heritage through the release of films.
In planning the event, the reform of the Ministry of cultural heritage and activities and tourism was taken into consideration. This reform assigned a fundamental role to development, in which to strategically invest with the aim of improving cultural access to our museums and archaeological areas, expanding the participation of current and potential users, and also pursuing the aim of making cultural heritage one of the engines that feed our country’s economy.
The need to invest in the promotion, not only of museums but also, and most importantly, of cultural itineraries, emerges clearly. This can be achieved by disseminating the new directives of the reform and informing the public with regard to the strategic reorganisation of places where state heritage and culture can be found.
